The activated carbon filter has no expiration date, meaning it can be used indefinitely. When used in a compost bin, the filter works for about 3-6 months. This depends on how many odors the filter has to filter out. With low usage, the filter is not saturated with odor particles as quickly as with high usage, so it is not possible to provide more precise information.

Our freezing containers have been specially produced for use in the freezer. We use PE plastic for the containers and LDPE plastic for the lids, which remains flexible even after long storage in the freezer. Plastics become rigid during cooling. This also increases brittleness. Therefore, we advise against using products that have not been specifically manufactured for freezing.

Products made of polypropylene (PP) are resistant to the effects of everyday chemicals. Caution is advised in the case of lids with sealing rings: It cannot be excluded that prolonged contact of the seal with chemicals may cause brittleness in the case of acids or hydrolysis in the case of bases.

Our products, which are clearly suitable for use in the microwave, are appropriately marked on the packaging. The dishes themselves hardly heat up during heating in the microwave - the heat felt on the dishes is residual heat from the heated food. Our microwave dishes can therefore be used in microwaves of all power classes.

Our microwave containers also have venting valves in the lid to prevent excessive pressure in the container. Fresh food containers and freezing containers have a tightly fitting lid that is not suitable for use in the microwave.

Most of our products are made of flammable polypropylene. As a result, they increase the fire load in any area where they are used.

Our products, made of PP (polypropylene), are resistant to commercially available alcohol-based disinfectants (ethanol and propanol). Even rubbing with bleach water will not cause permanent damage.

Our products do not have UV protection. In principle, they can be stored outdoors. However, it is possible that over time the color may fade or a whitish coating may appear. It can be easily removed. Of course, this also depends on whether the product is always in full sunlight or constantly exposed to weather conditions.

All the plastics we use, such as polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), and SAN (styrene-acrylonitrile), are essentially completely free of plasticizers and harmful substances. Therefore, the purchased products pose no threat to the user and are not harmful to their health.

Unfortunately, we have no influence over the odors of the plastics we use. The characteristic smell depends on the specific plastic chosen for this particular application.

The inherent odor cannot be influenced during the production process. There are PP plastics whose smell is less intense or less perceptible. However, such alternatives no longer have the desired properties of the product.

Our Memory drinking bottles are made of food-safe and transparent Tritan plastic.

Our Caruba jugs are made of polypropylene, which can be used at temperatures up to +120°C. However, we generally recommend not pouring boiling water directly into our products. It is best when the water is already slightly cooled.

We clearly state that our microwave dishes from the "Micro Clever" product line are intended for use in the microwave only at the maximum adjustable power (usually for most microwave models: max. 800 W) and cannot be used in the microwave with the grill function turned on. These two kitchen appliances operate completely differently, and therefore temperature cannot be the guiding factor.

The chemistry of plastic kitchen products is such that they tend to befriend fats. Therefore, water has great difficulty penetrating between the fat and the plastic. As a result, fat does not dissolve and cannot be stabilized in water. However, if the products are washed in a dishwasher, they become free of fat thanks to intensive mechanical cleaning.

No storage container can guarantee unlimited protection against pests. In most cases, insect webs are already present on food packaging in supermarkets. They are often so small that they are difficult to see with the naked eye, which is why they are unknowingly thrown into storage containers.
